damn gremlins

they keep messing with my truck......today after i get all the stuff to put it on the road.....the oil is somehow below the add line...... i blew a front brake hose the other day, replaced it then bent the old line too much taking of the old hose and put in a pinhole leak. after that i said f*** it and im having new line put in and the other hose put on by mechanics......

im pissed......

o yea and before i forget to ask......what would the problem be if i was losing alot of oil on about a quarter tank? ok now i pissed my self off more............

If the oil is not dripping on the ground, its getting burned off. Better for it to be dripping, easier to fix. If its burning off, it could rings or valve seals.

im gonna tighten everything tomarrow then.......if it still goes down i might look to swap in a new engine, and rebuild the orig one

tomarow i think a mechanic is gonna help me fix my brakes
ill check out the oil problem. it has white smoke on startup and even when warmed up. if i have to ill rebuild it. thats how much i like my ranger(even though my dad hates it and the rest of my family loves it)
