Damn - Failed again......

I've been up since 11am yesterday. Couldn't slep last night and got up at 4:30 am to back up the forum database and attempt to move it to a new server again.

I finally gave up. Myself and the techs with the server are having problems getting the database backup file imported in to the new database on the new server.

I had to finally give up and turn the forum back on. I should have had it running about 10am this morning, but began running in to issues with the new server. The first one was a setting that I can change on this server, but couldn't access on the new one. The other one was just an issue with getting the size of the database to import.

I've been awake for 32 hours, I'm tired, and aggravated.

The first time I did this I forgot to disable all the plugins before I backed up the forum database. This time I removed all the attachments and avatars from the database and placed them in a seperate folder. I also removed the vbdynamics software that the previous classifieds were using. Finally I disabled all the plugins and backed it up. I think this one is a winner......if I can get it imported in to the new database.

There ya go - we all need our TRS shirts on. (It strangely is markedly faster though.) My Ranger lanyard is in my pocket too and have avoided 4, yes 4 wrecks today. When it rains down here, people turn into complete morons.

Get some oil of oregano for that...my sister swears by it...I tried it once and I didn't get what everyone else was getting...paid, laid, and upgraded...lol
