daily doubler build

Yeah. I just said fawk it and ordered new 37" MTRK's. Just talked with the guy at 4WP on Monday and he said they should be in at the end of the month at the latest (they've been on backorder).

Wicked, you'll like them.... Only thing I didn't like was how narrow they seemed even on a 9" rim, but I was running 14.50's before so I'm a lil biased.

I like a narrower tire, and with the beadlocks, I shouldn't have any issues. We'll see how they do when they come in.

It's always weird with new tires. Hard to judge how they truly perform because you're going from a bald tire to a brand new tire. Of course they're going to kick ass. haha. I just hope they balance relatively easily and stay balanced.

I've never worn a tire down past 50-60%...:thefinger:

They seemed to hold up great, less then 2/32's tread wear in 6 months of fairly abusive driving.

Mtrs are AMAZING on the road. You're going to love them.

What's this I read about it not running? I've been slacking... What's going on?

I don't think I have ever had a set over 50% lol :flipoff2:

?

It's running like a champ. Sitting in the parking lot here at work right now.

Just got off the phone with 4WP. The MTRK's are still on backorder. I can't wait any longer for tires. I switched my order. 37" KM2's are on the way.

ew.... Shoulda gone pitbull's! lol

Yeah but the price difference.

Good choice on the km2. I really like them. After Saturday I was shocked to see how well they performed over the original km. Plus aired down to 13psi I think helped.

Only thing that I have heard from all my buddies that dd their weekend wheeler, is the KM2's are very prone to cupping. As long as you keep them rotated regularly, they are great. This is where the MTR is a better tire. Other than that, they both work great on and off the road.

My SSR's are cupped pretty bad. I'll be sure to keep up with the rotations on the new tires.

I was more worried about sidewall strength than traction (though traction is a huge factor). I'm sure any tire would hook pretty well if you let enough air out of em. The beadlocks will be nice.

What load range did you get?
