daily doubler build

I would recommend doing it sooner rather than later. There's a noticeable performance improvement.

This new one feels better than the old one did too. Very solid.

Hey Brayd I finally got under way on my Lil red Ranger. Although mine is a much older model than yours. After seeing you up at Attica a couple times with it I got the motivation and direction. Great work on yours hope to go rock for rock with you once mine is done.

Good luck with the build man, glad I could be an influence. Feel free to chase me down if you see me over there again. I'm usually the only truck in the group that I go with, so I'm always lookin for other rigs to tag along with.

I ran a similar joint with similar clearance to the shackle (bracket) on a set of radius arms I put together. I found when it flexed the sides of the joint would contact the bracket and loosen the jam nut in one direction and really tighten the jamnut in the other direction.

Interesting. It's the same joint I'm running on my RA's. Haven't had any issues on the arms, but I haven't flexed it out and looked to see if I'm over articulating this one.

I offered him some 37's to go on Saturday..............he don't want to rip the fenders off....well atleast not yet, right Bray? Just messing with ya bud. Maybe when he gets his tires we could possibly make a Cliffs run or evn Attica? Ya know..gotta try them out!

Sooo...... How bout those tires.

They're in the mail.

And they're 37's. :thefinger:

Mounting up your tires and doing all the trimwork for a trip this weekend was going to be a lot to work out logistically. When my tires come in, I'll trim the fenders to clear 'em beautifully and I'll be ready to rock.

I need to get crackin on my sliders too.

Hmmm...I just remembered I was supposed to pull a steering box for you, gotta remind me of this shit :thefinger:

Are your fenders cut at all now?

haha yeah. I was going to remind ya when I started 'needing' it.

They're trimmed from the body line down on the front. Removed about 2" at the very bottom and blended to the factory fender opening at the body line. If you can follow that. haha.

No trimming yet on the rear and the 35's tuck perfectly. I'm pretty sure my wheels now are 8" wide with 3.75" backspacing.

New wheels are 8.5" wide with 4" backspacing. Should stick out damn near the exact same. That's what I hope anyways. Shouldn't take too much trimming to make em fit.

so you finally got tires coming???!
