alright well im re doing the whole front end in my truck now that i jumped upto 36's an wanted to do the spicer 5-760x joints but no where around here sells spicer joints is there any other brands that are similar to these?

I see a snapring kit at the lower right on that page too, be sure to pick that up as well (you'll need 12 snaprings for the D35, that kit appears to only have 8, so make sure you can get 4 more included.

thanks for the link...autozoo tried to say like $90 a piece

AH yes, get the snap ring kit as Junkie mentioned.

From them to me in BC usually takes no more than a week. He ships right a way and is super easy to deal with.

I have no doubt that the Spicer U-joints are the strongest but IMHO , the lack of any external way of lubing the joint is a problem if you go into mud/water -- like around here.

The seals on them work very well actually, I've had the same set in my shafts for 3 years now (still nice and tight)

I never bought any 'cause I thought for sure they'd be fubar in a few short months.

I'm only running the smaller (260 sized vs. 297) cold forged joints with a detroit and 37's and fully attribute their holding up to the fact that there are no internal grease passages. They've held up great and when you peel the seals back the grease still looks fresh, and I've used a grease needle to grease them when I feel it's needed.
