My 95 4x4 D35 has eaten through bearings AGAIN, I am getting 15,000 miles out of them if I am lucky. The races have looked fine, and crude measuring they were round.. but considering I'm only on 31's even with the bad design I should be getting a few more miles out of the bearings.. wondering if the races in the discs are slightly out of round. In which case, can I have them pressed out/in or are the discs a one piece deal?

the design just sucks, i go thru them like crazy because i always forget to clean and regrease them after wheeling in deep water. they are spaced too close together, if you swap to dana 44 knuckles then you will have same bearings but spaced farther apart and a much better design

yes the races are replaceable. Autozone rents a tool for installing new ones, the old ones can be removed carefully with a hammer and chisel.
