D-ranged

Looking good man. Just thought it was funny, you named your build the same as me. lol.

Thanks well i started mine in 2009, and you started yours in 2010 but whatever. Your truck looks awesome and probably has has alot more then just 1000 into it.

WHAT?! You only have a grand in it?! that is AWESOME!

Yea i got a little more than a g in it, sorry i copied yours, I never seen it when i began the build. Even ordered custome plates that say DERNGD. Dalpiolit (sp?) named his crazy ass powerstroked Ranger DeRanged too.

Good looking project you got going on there. Any way you can post up a pic or two of how you fabbed the replacement rear body mounts?
I'm leaning towards the same kind of truck, just trying to gather ideas on that particular area.

Thanks, and keep up the progress !!

WOW...wrote up what was gonna be said below and forgot to hit submit after i preveiwed it...

i know it sticks out alot but it will turn into a exo cage later on

progression

More done to the tubing work.:D
Two more tubes going to the upper corners and the main hoop can be welded on finnaly.

These are some pictures of the supports used to hold the cage down. i welded it up today dont have any pics of it welded up. but its a piece of notched angle iron welded to the frame and the front spring hanger.

(The angle iron is actually alot closer then it is in this picture now that its welded in.)
Should be done the main hoop and have it welded on tomorrow, only having 2.5 hours a day at school to work on it is a pain in the ass but better then buying a tubing bender/notcher.

Also the school is getting a plasma cutter so i get to make some sweet gussets soon for this maybe spider web looking ones.

sweet build bud. ill deffinetly be following.

a tip when plasma cutting: try to lodge a piece of 2x4 of wood down for you to use as a guide when your cutting. helps make cuts alot straighter than free hand. maybe its just me but doing free hand i kinda suck at it lol
