Yea i got a little more than a g in it, sorry i copied yours, I never seen it when i began the build. Even ordered custome plates that say DERNGD. Dalpiolit (sp?) named his crazy ass powerstroked Ranger DeRanged too.

Good looking project you got going on there. Any way you can post up a pic or two of how you fabbed the replacement rear body mounts?
I'm leaning towards the same kind of truck, just trying to gather ideas on that particular area.

WOW...wrote up what was gonna be said below and forgot to hit submit after i preveiwed it...

ok so the rear body mount/crossmember is 2.5" square tubing with 2 small gussets for the incase.

and got another tube on the main hoop of the tubebed/roll protection.

i know it sticks out alot but it will turn into a exo cage later on

Two more tubes going to the upper corners and the main hoop can be welded on finnaly.

These are some pictures of the supports used to hold the cage down. i welded it up today dont have any pics of it welded up. but its a piece of notched angle iron welded to the frame and the front spring hanger.

(The angle iron is actually alot closer then it is in this picture now that its welded in.)
Should be done the main hoop and have it welded on tomorrow, only having 2.5 hours a day at school to work on it is a pain in the ass but better then buying a tubing bender/notcher.
 
sweet build bud. ill deffinetly be following.

a tip when plasma cutting: try to lodge a piece of 2x4 of wood down for you to use as a guide when your cutting. helps make cuts alot straighter than free hand. maybe its just me but doing free hand i kinda suck at it lol

Cnc plasma cutter :D dont need hands, good tip though.

looking good man what kind of bender you using?
 
make sure you gusset each corner for the added strength. Its looking great bud!
