Hi Guys
I am new to the forum and live in South Africa. I have a 1998 2.5lit turbo-inter-cooled 4x4 double cab pick-up. Have owned the vehicle from new and now has 150,000 miles on the clock and have NEVER had engine problems. I regularly tow a '60 Chev Corvair on an A frame all over the country to car shows. I am pulling the head as the headgasket seems to have blown, is there anything specific that I should be watching out for??? The intention is to replace the head with a new one(NOT REBUILT)ex factory. I will not part with this truck its my second skin best transport I have owned, EXCEPT, of course for my '60 CORVAIR, busy replacing its motor with a big bore replacement. ANY advice comments will be GREATLY appreciated. looking forward to hearing from you!!
