Cylinder head casting numbers

Have a read here: https://therangerstation.com/tech_library/40rebuild.shtml

The casting numbers should be under the valve covers, but easier way to ID them..............

"original 90TM casting and 93TM-AA casting were exactly the same .............and can be identified by the letter "T" located on the top of the right rear/left front exhaust port."

"95TM-AD casting that came out in ’95, and 97TM casting in ’97 were the same......They can be identified by the letter "U" that’s located on the top of the right rear/left front exhaust port."

"98TM-AD came out in 1998 and was used thru 2000, and should not be used with earlier engines or computers....All of these heads have the letter "A" cast into the head right above the right rear/left front exhaust port."
