i have a 2006 FX4 with the 4.0L (natuarlly) i was coming home from work getting onto the e-way on a short on ramp so i punched the throttle to get upto speed to merge with the traffic got it up around 65-70 when the check engine light started blinking so i let off the throttle waited a second and eased back into it after a few seconds it went off and stayed off the rest of the way home. i didnt notice any change in power or noise when it happend.

when i got it home i read the code and got a "cylinder 1 misfire" back the truck has just over 89k on it so i planned on doing a tune-up on it here soon. my question is should i be concerned about the misfire? and do a further test into it or could it just be a simple hickup somewhere?
