Best guess - If you can start the balance test but it aborts (without errors), would you say that the PCM (EEC) is bad? My truck sat for a long time, and the PCM looks oxidized...

mine will not complete either. however did find a dead cylinder with compression tester. do not know how that factors in to balance test thou

I ordered a new computer, so I'll let ya know. My compression is ok, so that's not an issue, it's just being a pain.
