I need a cv driveshaft in the 47" lenght. Do any of the new rangers use a driveshaft like this?

Do you need a 1 piece, a 2 piece, what are your body options, what trans do you have.

The more info you give up front the faster people can figure it out and help you.

one piece drive shaft, with a cv head. I want to use it on an 84 ranger long bed, std cab, with a doubler and a ford 9" rear axle.

yikes. I dunno. i'm not sure if any stock shaft will be short enough for the doubler.

Why would anyone want a CV shaft? I got rid of all but one BII length that I had, converted all of my BIIs over to U-joint shafts with a slip joint.

the frod 9" has a very low pinion. So i have it pointing up at the rear of the t-case. The result is a major u-joint angle miss alignment, so I need a cv joint.

you might need to get one made.

sometimes its cheaper than buying a new or re-maned one.

we happen to have a b2 one...not sure on length

Why not a cardigan U-joint shaft with a slip joint?

BII CV shafts love to detonate.

well that is what I am looking for. a 1310 double cardan head with a slip yoke.

That is different from what you originally said you want.

And Lil_blue double cardigan is a is a sweater. It's double CARDAN.

I have a cardigan off a shortbox Ranger somewhere around here. The cardigan works but will probably need rebuilt before too long. I'll have to dig it out an get a measurement. Don't think I have anything else I can give up right now.

I think Explorers got cardigan shafts with slip joints, might be worth looking into.
