im runnin like no money right now but hate not doin somethin to the truck on a sunday an i got thinkin i got a hacksaw an the truck is to quite anyway so my question is wat do u think i will gain from this an will the truck be to loud fer camp lejeune base standards....im kinda new with these rangers

Some people are opposed to having a loud exhaust system....

I, on the other hand, have chopped my exhaust all the way back to the exhaust manifold running true dual straight out of the engine (Not encouraging you to do this by any means) and I love it immensely. Before I did this however, I was running a y pipe through a cat and then it stopped, and it was loud, but not horribly loud. I am one of those people who think that the louder it is, the better it sounds. And no, it doesn't sound like a pissed off bumble bee, it sounds like a drag car.

thanx i appriciate itive thought about it all day an i think im goin to try it an if i dont like it ill just wait till my next pay check an put some flows on her

Don't cut your hanger off, and if you decide you don't like it, just get a coupling up there and patch the gap :)

wow the little truck sounds like a beast lol i like it now gotta figure out how im goin to lift it without spendin 1900 or more

hockey pucks

how much do you want to lift it? if only a couple inches, go to summit racing and they have a couple cheap lifts i think it would lift it 2.5 inches

Just go with a body lift if you want something cheap. The ride isn't quite as good, but get you some good seats, and you'll do fine.

<-- This truck has 8" with 31's. It sits as high as our diesel F250. Decide how much lift is too much for you lol

Save your money and get the lift height that you want to end up with, I did it in stages and spent more money than i should have.

Cutting the pipe off that far back may result in that pesky carbon monoxide getting in the cab which can either kill you or at least make you dizzy and wreck your truck, which may or may not kill you. Other than that, it should be fine.

I run my pipes out the side under the cab. I'm not too terribly worried about Carbon Monoxide unless I am sitting in one spot for a long period of time.

I hacked out all my pipe from the tail pipe the the end of the muffler. Sounds awesome with a flowmaster delta 40. Much louder without all that
