Cut my tail pipe out?

Anyone know how it will sound if I cut the tail pipe off the muffler? Laws here in Manitoba say I'm allowed to put the exhaust tip beforel the wheel.
I would basically be cutting about 3-5 feet of tailpipe after the muffler.
