hey adsm, that reminds me last time I was headed home from PA (might have been in NJ) a black crown vic-ish looking car flew by me and it had a plain black plate with like 4 white numbers. I remember saying where the hell are they from to wich the gf replied "hell" Maybe they're state gov't plates or something? Just stuck in my head....looked pretty cool.

Mine aint that custom, just 4 numbers. BUt its a OIF freedom plate from Tennessee. You can see it online.

That may have been one of the old dare plates.

With my pueple Ranger, I thought about getting "EGGPLNT" but I didn't have the $$$ at the time.

One of the best plate's seene was a NH conservation tag (which has a picture of a moose on it). The plate read "+SQRL" I'll give you a hint: Think old cartoons.

I thought personalized plates were free in nh? or maybe they're just alot cheaper than mass. theres so many of them

Nope. It's about a $35 fee per year to have them. Plus, dealing with the NH DMV is such a breeze. I had to go & get a copy of my driving record today. I was in & out in under 15 minutes.
