Looking for a billet oil cap for my '95 2.3, anyone seen any reasonably priced?

Check eBay. I got a mobile 1 cap off a cobra for cheap.

So mustang caps should fit? Does Ford pretty much use a standard cap across the board or what?

I've seen some at Advance Auto Parts that have a Ford logo on them that look like they will fit. But they are almost $20. I may have to save a little bit of cash to get one, now that you mention it.

Lol, I might go try one of those! I just got a cylinder head off a member here, and while it was on my bench I decided to powdercoat the valve cover and bead blast/paint the cylinder head. It looks so damn nice, I don't wanna drop that crappy plastic cap back on it :)

Speaking from experience (lol) I hope you used high heat paint...my first attempt look reaally nice...then I ran the engine for a bit and noticed the smoke...it was mostly from my exhaust header...but had to redo the valve cover too...haven't tried to redo the header yet...

As for oil caps..I bought one for the 89 Mustang valve cover...think I paid $20 something for it...but they are easy to get at the junkyard...and a bit cheaper...if not free...they used to give away anytthing rubber or plastic...till they realized how much they could make for that stuff~

On the race truck,we took a stock cap,cut it all off except the threaded part, drill a inch hole thur it,epoxied in a short piece of aluminum pipe in it and put on a K&N vent filter.looks good.

That sounds like a great idea...you can just remove the filter and top up the oil...

The Mustang and some Ranger valve covers have that little tube sticking out...I was going to plug that and do something like the above but figured something else out (I was trying to redirect the blow by)...

I did notice that the B2300 has that same little vent that goes into the air tube on the passenger side...but I'm getting foam (probably cheap detergents in the oil) and didn't want it near my breather or in the air intake...

I,ve been going to get one of those fabricated valve covers on ebay. Not too bad a price for a fab cover($129 shipped).Got a freind that does some lazer etching, would look neat with "RJM MOTORSPORTS" on it.
