does anybody have custom bent exhaust on there rangers, i was talking to a guy at minute muffler and he said he would not even try bending duals on my truck because theres not enough room, is this true?

I can tell you in the spring. I plan getting a custom system bent and welded up. Looking under my truck I think there should be lots of room. I also have 7 inches of lift tho. Take it to a different shop and get a second opinion

I'm in the process of creating my own. Might just make to the mufflers then have some custom tailpipes done. Should be enough room but will have to run the exhaust down the passenger side. I've searched before, but was wondering if anybody has any pics of some custom set-ups???

yea i would like to run duals on a super turbo muffler, theres no kit out there that i can find, really its more for looks than anything

You shouldn't have any problems. I've got a custom si/do system on mine ('06 FX4). I've got a few pics...

Hope that helped.

It cost me $380 total. I took it to a mechanic who does a lot of work out of his house. I asked him if he had any trouble and he said it wasn't too bad, I guess it just depends on what the mechanic is willing to do...but it is do-able.

Tell your exhaust guy he's on crack.
I had mine done by my buddy, who bent em by eye.
There's plenty of room, little tighter with the spare mounted, but it can be done.
Anyway, here's what I had before I ripped it of while off-road and went with 5" single tailpipe...

BTW, Midas uses what they call bend card to make their exhausts. They are pretty much a template/ direction on how to bend pipes for certain vehicles. They have one for dual Ranger tailpipes.
