I have a 1993 Ford Ranger XL with a 2.3 engine. I have had bogging down issues lately. Back in October I replaced the fuel pump in order to get my gas gauge working , well that didn't work so I left it alone. Recently I have had issues with the bogging down so I replaced the original fuel filter and it still bogged down. So I replaced the fuel pump a second time in the last week along with another fuel filter and changed the alternator as well. Still bogging down, Could my fuel injectors be clogged to cause the bogging down?

Check the simple stuff? Air filter clean? spark plugs gapped properly or need replaced? Fuel pressure regulator good? Vacuum leak somewhere? Check engine light on?

Also, check the exhaust, any of the pipes bent or kinked from hitting something? Catalytic converters not plugged up?

Girlfriend/ Wife gain a little extra weight :p

Just a few thoughts...
