I have a 1997 Ranger Supercab with 60/40 seats, a Manual transmission and Manual Transfer case.

When i bought it, it had no cup holders... and i'm just baffled at that. Were there any stock ones??

I don't think the two that go in the middle front of the 60/40 would work because of the transfer case boot, but I could be mistaken, I also don't see any spots to bolt it in.

I'm wondering if anyone has a setup like this and HAS cup holders? Or am I looking at switching out to some Exploder/Ranger bucket seats with a center console?

i'm fairly sure the cup holders for your truck bolt to the bottom of the seat, and slide forward with the seat

Hmmm I will have to look tomorrow... That may warrant a trip out to the junk yard just to get the woman off my case for buying a vehicle with no cup holders....

tell her to spread her legs a bit... that's my cupholder... REALLY nice when you've got a slurpee on a hot summer day!

Cupholders were one of Ford's oversights on that truck, you only got them if you have one or more of the following: an automatic transmission, electric shift transfercase, bucket/captain's seats w/center console.

I found a small aftermarket cupholder that would fit in the spot just to the right of the gear shift lever on mine, though it's not as sturdy as the ones in the factory floor consolette (someday I may try to modify one to work as a single cupholder).

I have none of those things. I am very glad I am not the only one that has this problem. I just picked up this ranger last week and the next day I was baffled that I could not find a cup holder. I have been scouring the web for pics of a truck like mine with cup holders. This explains why I haven't been able to find one.

that sucks... i've got an 07 with a manual trans, e-case, bucket seats, and i've got 2 more cupholders than i have seats... i've got 6 cup holders... it's actually pretty sweet!

weezl is just a showoff attention whore

little bit :D lol

JEALOUS!?!?! MUWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

i'm jealous of the truck... not of you...

but then again, i got a nice shiny awesome b2!!

that doesn't have cupholders! hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

we should try to not tailgate this thread, especially seeing as one of the bosses posted and is subscribed...

can you link the pictures over? i've apparently exceeded my number of pages i can see... or is it more of a you gotta see it thing?

i do it too.... lol

i'm gonna try, i'll edit this post once it loads. the pics are all you need.
basically there are 2 bolts in the center part of the 60 seats, and the cupholders slide on the bolts... its a stock thing i think. (i'm gonna try to find one for my truck tho!!)
if anyone has one of these, can they measure how much it sticks out towards the gear shifter?
