Cruise shuts off when I use a blinker

That is not a thing that it would ever do I have two other rangers both 94s that don't as well as another 96 that is exactly the same and none of them do that and if you've ever driven on the interstate you know that would not be a feature

Somebody's cranky.

There's a nap for that.

I see Snarky...

What I don't see is anything helpful...

I agree with the OP... not a chance in hell that under any circumstance that would be normal operation.

Thank you this is a very frustrating issue

Well the only thing that deactivates a set speed is brake or clutch(if manual) activation

Could be glitch in clock spring i.e. turn signal means "turning" the steering wheel..................

Brake lights have no connection to turn lights in 1996, not even in multi-function switch

@RonD said it back on page one.

Check the trailer harness. I know you took the adaptor out... but check the rear lamp harness connector too. I've fixed a bunch of stuff that was cause by that connection.

Ok I take it back. But maybe its low on blinker fluid?
