Cruise control not working on 1994

Did you read Hound's post?

The dump valve is the "actual emergency" failsafe cutoff for the cruise system. In the event that the electronics don't successfully disengage cruise, it will ensure the servo lets go of the throttle.

No I know that sorry, I’m making sure bypassing it is safe so I don’t lose breaks or something.

It's hypothetically unsafe in that if you can't disengage cruise, you'll have to slam the shifter into neutral or turn off the engine.

That's why I would bypass it for testing and then, if it's the problem, fix it.

Here’s kinda what I did tell me if it’s not smart but I may work I inclipped the black plastic piece and pushed it back up a little so it’s not quite anchored in. But now the break pedal is pushing back onto the valve again.

Still didn’t work, I’ll check the valve when I get home.
