Cruise control not working on 1994

And another common thing to check, that I forgot, is to make sure that the dump valve is seated on the brake pedal. It just pushes into a mounting clip, and it can back out which reduces or eliminates the vacuum that's supplied to the servo.

I’ll look in the break pedal for that

Is the dump valve the metal thing or is it the bucket looking thing with a cloth peace in it

This thing you can barely see in the background is the speed sensor, but it looks pretty plugged-in.

Without more info, I'm on team brake pedal/vac problem. If there's not an obvious wire/vac fault, I'd test the servo directly, but you want to check all the simpler stuff first.

The dump valve is separate from the break control right? Like I just replaced the brake control cuz my rear taillights weren’t working when I bought the truck.

Ah ok I see there’s a switch up behind that plastic thing. What’s that supposed to do right now I don’t think there’s making contact

That's your problem, then, or at least part of it.

That valve is NO and the plastic bracket holds it closed. If you can't clip the valve or bracket back up so it holds the valve closed, you can bypass the dump line (pinch it closed or pull the end of the dump valve and cap it) for testing.

Early cruise controls used vacuum to move the throttle. So, when that valve opens, the vacuum in the servo is dumped to atmosphere and it stops controlling the throttle.
