Cruise Control Amplifier

I have a 94, 5 spd, V6, 2wd, Ranger XLT (great truck by the way) and cannot find the Amplifier for the cruise. I know its supposed to be behind or near the the radio/ash tray. I found 2 controllers on the side on the ash tray with ID numbers E6EB-14A624-AA and F37F-2C018-AA on them, but they just don't look right.

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!!!

The Cruise control module on a 1994-ish should be a greenish colored plastic case.

Thank you. I don't recall seeing that, but I will sure look again.

Is it generally mounted to the firewall?

Fyi. I found it mounted above the glove box. I swung the glove box out of the way and it was mounted above it under the dash.
