Cross Threaded Drain Plug

Bought a used 2006 Ranger. On my first engine oil change I found the drain plug was cross threaded. I need to get a new one from the dealer before my next oil change. What's the chance the oil pan threads are cross threaded too?

Chances are very good. You can see if they are damaged. You can buy a replacement plug that cleans up the threads.shady
