Crankshaft Position Sensor

By little grey box do you mean the icm? And I've tried resetting the battery, and this engine doesn't have a cam position sensor. One thing I forgot to mention, the ignition switch in this truck is all messed up. It starts without a key and sometimes the starter never disengages. It gets stuck until I yank the battery.

Yes,the ICM,Take time to switch out the key switch, may be the problem but make sure you have a good ground on the ICM,upper left corner screw hole, clean the brass tab and clean the screw hole in the intake. If you have any concern its not grounded enough, run a wire from THAT screw and get a ground on the engine.

I checked the icm to see if it was getting power. 12V. Also checked the ground of the CPS and it's also good. I also posted another thread with some cel stuff.

Well here's something interesting. There is no screw in the upper left corner of the icm and no brass tab.
