cranks but will not start

Hello, I am a Newbie. I pulled the instrument panel today and replaced some instrument lamps. Now truck will not start and the Check Engine Light does not come on. I have checked the Fuel Shut Off Switch and it seems OK. I had the battery unhooked for 2 days. It is a 1998 3.0 4X4.
 
Can anyone tell me the location of the PCM on a 98 Ranger 4X4?
 
No spark and no Fuel Pump, and no Check Engine Light - These are my symptoms. Also the #7 Fuse to the 4W ABS popped. Unplug ABS and short cleared. Truck still will not start with ABS unplugged (maybe it can't. I don't know). With ABS unplugged there is still a drain on the battery but takes all night to kill it. There is a slight burn smell in the cab. I am thinking the PCM may be fried. Truck ran before I installed new Instrument Lamps, now I am thinking that was coincidental; I did have battery unhooked before removing Instrument Panel. I do not have any solid grounds now, just high-resistance ground somewhere. Does anyone have any ideas? I have checked everything I can think of. Any leads will be appreciated. TIA, desertrat
 
Found my problem. See my post of April 11 about over charging. This can be a major issue!!!
