got a 99 ford ranger with only a 3in body lift. and my front end is more noticeably down so i wanted to crank my torsion bars a little. is it really worth it???

i like the fact that it gives me a stiffer front end but will it ruin my shocks or anything in the long run?? should i just buy the keys with the money i dont have?? thanks guys!

You can crank them a little and be fine. If you crank the all the way, you will go through cv's more then you would like. I have heard the cv's can handle up to 15 degrees of angle, but I'm not sure about that. Don't spend you money on the keys, your stock keys will give you what you need if you decide to crank them. I cranked mine almost all the way and got about 2" lift, but it's temporary so i could fit 33's until I can afford a lift.

Keep it to 1.5" or less and it will be fine. Get an alignment job afterward.
