Hi folks,

rebuilt a 2.9 and got it installed. Added back the factory ac that’s been missing since I bought the truck.

I have a 2-groove pulley on the crank, but need a 3-groove to run the ac belt in the stock configuration (see pic).

I instead got a smaller belt and have the ac pulley running off of the cam pulley only — instead of crank and cam. I didn’t realize that I need a 3-groove to set it up stock…

MY QUESTION:
Will this be ok from running the Ac compressor or will it cause stress and damage somehow?

thanks!

No, that won't work, need to find that 3rd pulley crank setup

Not sure if this is what you need, looks like it could bolt inside the stock 2 pulley unit
