Ok, here's my dilema. I have a 92 ranger 2.3L with a cracked exhaust manifold. I have looked in Junk yards trying to find a good one but they were either gone or cracked themselves. I did find a tube style manifold off of a 93 mazda 2300 ( same as ranger) So I pulled it off and got it for $7. My dilema is this: The EGR tube flange is different than on my 92 and will it even work? Same gaskets? What would it take to make it work. Thanks.

go back and grab the EGR tube from the same truck and put it on yours, should work that way... and probably the valve, it should mount to the intake manifold the same

Where is the crack? is it in a spot that can be welded back together?

cast iron doesn't weld easy without expensive welding rod...

I believe the EGR tube for the header has a couple DPFE tubes coming off of it where your old one doesn't, take one of the tubes off and loop it to the other bung... or flatten and fold over or tack weld them closed.

I went back and got the tube. I am just going to splice the end from the newer one to the original and TIG it together. The tubes are the same Dia. so it should be ok. Thanks for the help guys.
