I guess 300xxx miles on the little booger finally got to something and it just so happened to be my exhaust manifold. How hard would it be to swap with a newer header style manifold. What year if possible. Thanks

If yours is a 92,get one from a 93-94.It has both fittings on it.You can getone from a 95+ and hook up a O2 sensor in the downpipe. They are on Ebay

4 cylinder? i have a header off of a 96 i need to get rid of

I talked to my buddy at a salvage yard and his salvage interchange showed two possibilities; one with and one without a 23mm hole. I am guessing maybe for an oxygen sensor or and egr tube or port.

with 23mm hole
RANGER 1987-88 (2.3L)
RANGER 1989 (2.3L), MT (23mm hole)
RANGER 1990-92 (2.3L), 23mm hole

wo/ 23mm hole
RANGER 1989 (2.3L), AT (no hole)
RANGER 1990-92 (2.3L), no hole

I would assume the 23mm hole is the EGR as the oxygen sensor is 18mm
