So on my 97 with a skyjacker kit, I have cracked a lift bracket somehow, What is everyone doing when this happens. My though was to just weld the crack up and plate it.
Allso the PO used 2 sets of blocks in the back to get the 6" of lift. What is the best (cheapest) set up to do away with the blocks?
Thanks you.

Tech section has a writeup on how to fix lift brackets. I'd honestly call Skyjacker and see if they're willing to replace it.

^ There are a LOT of loopholes to jump through though. You have to have skyjacker shocks on your vehicle, have to properly display the "suspension lift disclaimer sticker", and you have to have an authorized skyjacker representative personally look at the part.

This a Class 1 (narrow) or Class 2 (wide) bracket? Got a pic?

Agreed, welding & plating it is probably the easiest/quickest solution, though if you are the kit's original purchaser (and have receipts) it certainly couldn't hurt to call them.

I can't see them enforcing the 'driver warning decal' thing... I suspect that's something they put in their terms to cover their ass from some previous (highly unusual) circumstance that may have occurred, as that decal obviously can't have any bearing on the part itself.

Not sure on what class, it was on the truck when I got it. I will just weld it back. Biggest concern is the back set up, I hate the lifted blocks, just seems so hack. From what I seen this is how sj set this lift up. I will get some pics soon as I get her home.
