no you can't this is what you see with the fender off

How can i mount lights there then? how do people with cowl mounted snorkels get in there?

i've never seen a "cowl mounted snorkel" usually snorkels are done through the fender...

though if you really wanted to mount a snorkel to the fender, a hole saw and/or a sawzall would help

Im actually mounting lights there, which i know has been done. Im pretty sure i can find a way in there tho. Drivers side theres an access panel, passenger side im going to take the fender off and widen the drain hole with a grinder so i can fit my hand in there

PM Boggin. He has some on his Ranger.

1. remove fenders

2. chop a little hole in the side of the cowl to put the nut on the stud for hte lights,

3. my truck is auto, so on the drivers side there is a little plate over where the clutch master cylinder would go, so i removed that plate and had plenty of easy access to put the nut on the stud for the light.

and there you have it..

ahahah thanks. had to angle grinder the shit out of the passenger side of the cowl but it was worth it, they look great mounted there

lol yeah i had to use the grind on mine alot to, and yea i think yours look better than mine did because my lights were way to big to be mounted there but yours looks awesome

How do you guys like them mounted on the cowl? Is there much reflection off the hood at night?
