I installed a new engine with zero miles on it but it was a 2009 in my 2004. Block was the same and everything that was the same was used. old wiring harness and fuel rails were used. I decided while I had it apart to install new/rebuilt injectors from a reputable company. Upon starting the engine it ran poorly and within a short time locked up. Long story short 2 of the six injectors were stuck open, WIDE open and basically filled the cylinders with fuel. Since gas is not compressible is it possible that damage could have been done to the head gasket, valves, pistons ect. There was literally gas flowing out of the tailpipe. I need help and opinions because I had to reinstall my old injectors and now its running like crap. Installed new plugs to no avail. Opinions please.
new and old injectors are exactly the same part number also.
Thanks
