Ok so I'm getting a set of 265/75r16 Toyo Open Country AT's put on my truck in the next few weeks. Those are going to mess up my mileage and speedo readings. What are my options for correcting the difference?

You can either get the Superlift TruSpeed calibrator or get yourself a hand held tuner.

Or you can go to the dealership and have them do it.

For the amount of size change I wouldn't worry about it.

It'll go out by about 1-3% or so but as your tires wear the difference will reduce.

I went from 255/70/16 to 265/75/16 and that's about how it has gone for me.

I've got a little gps that tells me how fast I'm going so I just keep an eye on that and it's never more than 2-3km/h out. My truck is a lease so it's actually helping to keep my odo reading slightly lower than it should...

Or you can go to the dealership and have them do it.

Dealership wins it $75 and its right across the street from where I work. Thanks for the suggestions.

Oh and the difference in my speedo would be about 6-8 %

Glad to hear it. It's scary to think people pay like $200 or whatever it is for the Superlift module when a dealership can do it for way less.

Yeah that's a wicked ripoff. Plus I believe you have to cut the superlift module into the wiring system which I don't really feel like doing to an almost new truck.
