Correct radiator cap for 95 2.3 need help!!

Hey guys,

I am pulling my hair out here. I need to replace the radiator cap on my 95 with 2.3. I have been to CARQUEST, Oreilly's, and Advance so far and all are showing a part number for a cap that is way to big to fit on my radiator. I am the original owner of this truck and the radiator is original. I guess I will go to Ford if I have to, but hopefully someone else has ran into this. Evidently, most of these caps are made by Stant and its a foul up in their catalog and all the others that are reboxed Stants are mis cataloged too

I got it figured out. As I said, it seems that Stant makes the caps for most everyone and they are just reboxed. The catalogs for all the parts chains that use a reboxed Stant are identical to Stant. It is a misprint in the book. The book calls for a large 13# cap and the right cap is smaller and is 16#. The right cap is listed under the 3.0 or 4.0 engine. It is the same for all 3, but the listing for the 2.3 is a misprint.
