93 xl..... Can't find correct fuel tank straps

I am looking for fuel tank straps. This "new" 93 project came with a ratchet strap holding it together.
It seems thee is a standard designation for straps ST137 ST138...I just ordered and received a pair from O'Reilly ST140..they are wrong. Advance doesn't have/offer them.... same with Autozone.

I fixed the sender unit on a '97 tank that's going into the '93....better looking tank, etc.

Any good sources of correct Ranger parts? I may just make the set, now that I've got the metal fab arsenal out.

I was going to say, you could just make some out of strapping. I do HVAC work, and the place that sells that stuff has this nice wide solid galvanized strapping that comes in a roll. Way more than you need but it would be perfect for a gas tank strap. It's not that thin narrow stuff with the holes punched all the way down it. They sell that also, and they also sell a strapping that looks like seat bet material. But you need the solid galvanized stuff.
