So? This isn't going anywhere, at this point the best solution is to let it run it's course through the population.

So, basically your advocating that all people with some other long term illness or underlying medical conditions, and all of us seniors should just forgo our attempts to not get the virus.
Just go out and mingle with the population who do not take this seriously. May/probably get the virus, enter and over-run hospitals, with a real good chance of dying ?
Just let it run it's course and cull out the population of the un-needed, the ill and the old ?
Yeah man, get rid of those useless old people, don't need them anymore, especially those un-needed in nursing homes.
And don't forget those kids who have long term illnesses...their just going to be a drain on resources in the future. Best to get rid of em now !

My neighbors house is going up for sheriffs sale tomorrow. The sate of NJ closed his Dental practice due to the corona virus, he was only able to do Emergency surgeries. So now he is being foreclosed on.

Really??? Because my NJ dentist closed for about a month and a half, only being allowed to do emergency’s for a while. I checked my texts... they’ve been open since 5/28.

These people have been spending too much time in a bunker without communications from the outside world.

1. How in the world is the government going to fund paying us all to stay home? Have they forgotten the federal governments debt?

2. Our economy won't survive another shutdown. Too many businesses and individuals are still reeling from or gone because of the last shutdown event.

3. In our culture/society, too many people will not obey the shutdown orders. We saw that in the last shutdown.

4. I doubt that we have even seen all the fallout from the last shutdown. How did that really affect agriculture long term and how will another shutdown amplify those affects?

I understand Covid is a big problem. But there has to be a better way than just shutting everything down.

He's only been going to work for one day a week since march, that was what he was complaining about when I talked to him a couple of months ago. Maybe he didn't have enough business and he had to close.
