I see that you have used it before and am curious what it means to you. I get that it's short or slang for America, but don't get what's behind it.

In general it is a somewhat derogatory reference to conservative individuals who cling to the meaning of the US Constitution and the rights we have that are protected therein. It is a reference to the fact that the majority of conservatives live in rural "hillbilly" areas, preferring to stay far away from the "more civilized" cities, and how people in those areas don't always enunciate properly or use shortened forms of words.



I am not 100% sure how the Dirty One is using it, but context seems to lean toward that usage lately.

was back at my other favorite restaurant in Michigan today.
the notices on the door stating "by order of the Governor..." have been replaced with "by order of the state health department...."
(something about a court ruling against the governor) (she said "oh yeah, watch this)
it noted that names and phone numbers were required for contact tracing.

when the server presented the check she told me to put my name and number on the back.
after a short conversation of how others handled the situation I proceeded to the back of the receipt,,,,and,,,

To: restaurant name and server name
thanks for the great dinner

To: Gretchen ( she's the governor)

I was in a couple of small stores and gas stations up in the north edge of Texas over the last couple of days, and NOBODY was wearing masks.
