I'm starting to get annoyed because nobody, and I mean NOBODY seems to know what is going on.

State has issued a thing that says we can start claiming unemployment benefits if our hours at work have been "reduced due to coronavirus". Problem is, I work flat-rate and nobody, including the state, seems to understand how this applies to me. I made three hours today. Before my average day was about 10.5. But nobody seems to know if I qualify because my employer hasn't officially cut back my work schedule or told me to stay home, I still come in, I (nominally) still stay until my usual time, but there is just no work coming in. For me that still equals almost a 66% pay cut, no different than if I'd been cut back to 1.5 days a week.

There was some talk today of cutting our parts staff, who are some of the last salaried individuals left working, to one guy on at a time. They will rotate shifts by pay period. It would be one guy on for two weeks, then the other guy comes in for two weeks. That way they only have to apply for the UC benefits once a month.
