I bumped into a set cheap on the book of faces. They look kinda promising for a standard cab... anybody tried them?

Only picture google can find of them in a Ranger is here:

I've thought about those same seats for my standard cab. Corbeau makes good stuff as opposed to the e-bay stuff you see a lot of.
Additionally, I think they make mounts dedicated to vehicles, including Rangers.

I have a set of factory bucket seat mounts, me being cheap I would probably try them first. By the time I spend $250 on brackets and $200+/- on skins my cheap seats are not quite so cheap anymore...

$50/pair w/ sliders doesn't sound too horrible. If I can get them to fit my factory tracks the sliders are a non issue. If I have to make my own tracks the sliders will be handy. They are black but they need recovered and tan is an option. Their site says new skins run $99-170 a seat depending on the model of the seat, I haven't inquired about the exact price yet.

But this would be my third bucket seat attempt and I am getting kind of tired of dragging home seats that don't fit and I can't seem to rehome...

Dang, they are quick.

$119 a seat to recover them.

I think we had Corbeau Baja Ultra fixed back seats in the race truck... very comfortable. I was expecting to get beat up and be sore for days after the race but was pleasantly surprised. I'd say go for it if the cost is OK.

Whoa! These things can fight off submarines!!!

I think I am going to pass on these, looking at the thickness and height of the back VS Explorer seats I don't think they are worth dragging home.
