HELP! I was removing my coolant/wiper washer reservoir on my 2001 Ranger. One of the fasteners clipped into the fender was frozen and I had to drill it out to remove it. Now I'm trying to replace it, and can't find it anywhere, including through Dorman. It's called a Clip Head Bolt. It's a bolt that's secured to a flat metal plate that slides into a slot in the fender. This bolt secures the bottom of the reservoir in 2 places on the fender with a nut. Can anyone tell me where I can find a replacement? Thanks

Any parts stores should carry "metal clip nuts" in many different sizes. Should be able to make them work.

I just picked up a few boxes of these at a local auto parts store...so, yeah, they are readily available...

Also called "U Nuts".

Unfortunately U nuts don't work for this application. They require an open edge to slide them on. Thanks though.

I would try an autobody supply shop. They would have repair panels and should have all the different types of clips.
