cool concept pictures

Looks kinda neat... and it looks like a 4x4 Regular Cab... nice!

Look at the cab and interior, looks to be standard Ranger fare to me. Time to phone gwaii:headbang:

This actually got made for military use, holy crap is it cool. It's called the Plasan Sand Cat.

on that topic, but off the topic of the thread... this is what the canadian military uses (instead of humvees)

if it looks familiar... yeah, they make a civilian version too... and everyone hates it...

i like it...but i don't know what type of sand it's set up for-the stuff i drive on here it's good to have a little bit bigger footprint.

Balloon style tires designed for sand and light roads, those would be destroyed in hours of use here on the US roads.

They wont pop though, they are pretty much solid tires.

Yeah, I was going to mention that the wheels don't really suit the truck, but I took this at the auto show, where they always up the bling factor.
That and those thin home-boy tires? lol:icon_confused:

that looks a lot like the trucks the dewalt reps drive up here... theirs aren't all custom like that, but painted up the same, they use them to park infront of store openings... i used to work for home depot, they would be in in those trucks all the time... they are just publicity vehicles... dewalt, Milwaukee, bosch, bostich, they all have their own trucks they bring to store openings...

like this milwaukee truck

concept cars can exist in actual form, but typically aren't functional, it's just body and interior for show, then it gets to prototype stage, where they make a functional car, but don't build it for sale, build it purely to see how it would work to actually use, then it goes to production (with changes along every step of the way)

but again with the necro thread! but i suppose it's better than people who just post blindly, without looking up old threads

seriously though, this is the 4th thread that has been necro'd that i'm subscribed to, in the last 12 hours...

the ford shelby gr-1 was built, not a concept, concept as far as i know is a car that never got built, if there is even 1 the car isn't on the drawing board anymore

Technically it is, it's up as now of the designs for the new ford GT.
