the mustang wagon i don't think was actually a concept, i believe they brought that into production for a very short period of time... i've seen some pictures of them before...

that splash is what i was looking for and it's an 89 not a 98, btw, but it was a different picture and had different tires...

here's the picture i was looking for... except the one i saw was in colour... note the blue rubber on the inside of the tires...

There were 4 made to my knowledge, 2 were destroyed (test vehicles), and 1 was international, thats the one seen, and there was a US model aswell.

These three (to me at least) appear to have evolved into actual production cars, or at least took a lot from their appearance. The purple one up top looks like it evolved into the 2nd generation Probe. The green one looks like one of the final versions of the Escort, the ZX2. And the yellow one looks like the 3rd generation of the Taurus.
