My truck has the class 2 skyjacker 6" lift, dual F-250 shock showers, billstein 5150's all around, 4-56 gears, it has the 4.0 motor which is ported & polished, superchipped, headers, flowmasters, 5 speed.... my question is will 2wd drive I-beams bolt up? I want to ditch the 4x4 front end adn go with a extended i beam set up with the shocks im running now. thanks

Sorry, extened 2wd beams will not bolt up. mounting points and crossmember are diffrent on the ranger. 2wd vs 4wd

you can put 2wd equal lenth beams under your truck though. As you would be using new mounting points.

unless you going to build a "race" truck I would keep the 4wd.but thats just me.

you can find really cheap ttb rangers for sale eveywhere if you really want a prerunner

2wd explorer/bronco beams will bolt in. if you want to go wider than stock 2wd beams you could gut your ttb's, then cut them up and make your own bent/ extended 2wd beams. threat motorsports uses d35 beam ends to make their custom 2wd beams. i'd just turn it into a 4x4 prerunner though.... oh, that is what i'm doing.

freeride got any pics of your truck? I think I am just going to leave the front how it is then and do the shackle flip on the rear and get some flared fenders up front.

i haven't even started yet. i'm gathering parts, i have fenders and king coilovers, but that's all so far. check out copykat's broncoII, he has alot of stuff done to it that would work really good for a prerunner.
you could throw some deavers and a bed cage with decent shocks on the rear and you would have an ok prerunner. put some bumpstops on the front to keep the shocks from bottoming out. fiberglass will help clear tires and finish the prerunner look, i see that you already have the bumpers.

yea i have the fabtech one up front and a homade back one and spare tire bed mount i made. yea i was thinking about building a bed cage.. how much do the shocks go for?

go to the FOA website and nose around. they list prices and are cheaper than king, saw and fox. look for 14" or 16" travel, 2" bodys will work for non race apps
