Converting a 1987 Ranger 2wd from manual trans to automatic for a drag truck.

Do I need to replace the entire brake/clutch pedal bracket assembly or can I just remove the manual pedals and replace with the auto pedal ?

Edit - The pedals need to be taken out no matter what as I am converting to non-power brakes also, so the master cylinder push-rod mounting point on the pedal needs to be modified as well.

Thanks for the help !!

What about just cutting the clutch pedal arm off and call it done? The automatic brake pedal may be a little wider but the narrow one you have should work like it always did. Or just weld a wider pad onto what you have.

I usually see that done by tying the pedal up with a piece of string...
