constant knocking in front end

Bergz

I had the same knocking in my truck for a while - tires wore poorly - and no one could tell me there was anything wrong. Early this year I got a chance to buy some lightly used upper and lower control arms/a-frame lowers from a dude with a new truck who was lowering his and using aftermarket stuff. The knock went away.

That does not help you much - I did not change any rod ends. Just the upper and lowers.

On the brake thing - grease the calipers very well with the appropriate grease and your wear problem should go away.

Good suggestion on greasing the calipers, however if he has a 93 4 x 4 it does not have upper or lower a-arms. No offense.

Good luck

yup, i got a 93 4x4. and put a new caliper on and greased where the brake pad slides in and out on the back pat and the screeching went away

Hello Bergz0,

I have to ask... is the anti rattle clip on the inner pad?

Good luck

yep anti rattle clips installed
