Considering buying this if i have the money/get in for a third year at college

thats going to be a non turbo truck...

i know

how do you know it is 80k. does that truck look like it has 80k on it

considering it is a farm truck , i would bet it has that many miles , i have seen trucks newer than that with less miles in way worse shape , the farm trucks only get miles put on them in the spring and summer when the farms are operating , other than that they usually sit

i am a dealer and i go to the auctions , and these trucks never come through anymore , trust me

you should do what works for you. I think it is to much money and the 6.9/7.3 idi's were prone to caviation. the truck i owned I bought off the original owner. also you being a dealer you really know the prices so it's your call

yea , for some reason trucks are going real stupid right now , we looked at a Tahoe for my aunt ( she refuses to own anything other than a green Tahoe , she has a 95 right now with 250k on it with the 5.7 ) , there was an 03 with 103k on it , and it sold for $9100 , and that is before auction fees and markup on the lot , so all said and done you ar talking about putting it on the lot for $11,000 - $12,000 , just to make a little money

you might not see them because there are not a lot around. if it was a dodge i think it might be worth something because of the 6bt

then you are talking even higher prices , i found an 98 3/4 ton with 238k on it all rotted out for $3800

well i was gonna go look at this truck tomorrow , but then i found out that a truck i have been eyeing up out bact of the senior auto shop belongs to my favorite teacher , so i talked to him about it , he says he wants $1500 for it , it is a 1995 F-350 7.3 Powerstroke , 5-Speed Manual tranny , Manual T-Case , Manual Hubs , Dually , i dont think it is a bad price , needs tires and probably batteries , the teacher drove it to where it sits now and he says it runs and drives like a dream

Buy the one from the teacher.

The other one is a dog. I had a 7.8 non turbo for one of my first company trucks and it smoked so bad you could not see who was behind you when you were going up hill. It could hardly get out of its own way.

That farm truck is for sure a chick magnet........NOT!

the one from the teacher needs fenders ( Typical F-series rot ) and it has the same utility body on it as the farm truck ( old garage door service truck ) , but i am gonna rip that off and put a flat bed on it , the plus side is the one from the teacher is a dually , the farm truck was a single rear wheel truck

here is the one i am definantly gonna get , the one from the teacher

i am gonna pull the batteries tomorrow and see if they will take a charge

well it turns out that truck is actually a 97 , not a 95 and it has 201,000 miles on it , i put 2 new batteries in her today and she fired right up , took her for some passes out back of the school , the only problem i noted was that it has an exhaust leak
