my Ranger XLT 1994 has 5-4.5 lug nut pattern same as I bet most of you. Well I cant seem to find a good type of tire/wheel combo. I'm putting a 4'' lift on the truck and I want to put 33s on the truck and use maybe 15'' rims but I can't seem to find the right width for the wheels...I was looking at getting these wheels (which are 15x7) or these wheels which are 16x8 but finding tires for it seems to be the problem. I want all terrain tires for the truck. I just don't know how wide I can go for the tires

Huh? What width are you looking for? 15" wheels and 33's go hand in hand. You have lots of options for tires when you're going with 15" wheels. There are so many sites you can get wheels/tires, I don't even know where to begin......

alright well I found some 15x8's that I think I'm going to get. But what kind of tires should I get? What is the max width of tire I could go. Cause I've been seeing people have 33x12.5 or something like that. Sorry for being kinda unclear too, new to all this stuff.

Since you're "new at all this", I would suggest using the search feature and looking around for the stuff you want. There are many threads that may not pertain to you exactly, but you can see what rims have worked for other people and what not. As for tires, what are you going to be doing with the truck? Are you going to wheel it? Are you only going to be driving it on the street? Is it a daily driver? Is it just a weekend toy? Where do you live and what kind of terrain is around you? Figure out what you want/plan on doing with the truck and i'm sure we can help you get the tires you're looking for.

For offroad use, 33x12.50s on 15x8 wheels (with 3.75" backspace) is generally the best combo.

If it's mostly "just for looks", then you might get slightly better street handling out of 33x12.50s on 15x10s (with 4.5" backspace). 10" wheels won't hold the bead while aired down for offroad use as well however.

I run 12.50-wide tires on 15x8" rims on both of my trucks.

Thanks for all the help this is going to be mostly a street truck so I'll look for some 15x10s and I did use the search function a lot but couldn't find any direct answers but next time I'll search for a few more hours. But thanks againfor all the help! :)
