Ok I'm looking to replace my EEC but can't find a match to my part number ... The part number ends in ADC and I only find them ending in ADB and stuff like that I was wondering of it was ok to use those ? Help please

Can you give the complete part number you need vs. what you are finding? More than likely you're going to be fine - it's just a different calibration.

It is a different calibration, but I would not put an ADB in place of an ADC. The B is an earlier calibration.

dont worry about the part number. theres a 3-4 digit number/letter code printed on the sticker. thats all that matters.

Isn't it just a state calibration for different emissions and altitudes?

I believe this to be true as well. It is with Mustangs....

Ok it's f47f-12a650-ADC

The big one says BAB2

Here are 3 on ebay with both of these designations:

No. That's part of it, but not all of it.

Back in the early days of EFI and EEC the only way to update the computer to a newer software version to fix issues caused by calibration was to physically replace the computer. Going to an earlier software revision may have other unintended side effects on performance or fuel economy.
